    After reading your page, you and I have many of the same goals: run the first 5K, work on improving time, next year doing a 10K and a half marathon. I know we can make these goals happen!! Also like you, I just got welcomed (back) into 130-Ville. Feels great, eh? Well, keep it up!!

    Congrats on completing your first race! Feels wonderful doesn't it??? My goal is to get my next one under 30 mins too, my last 5k was around 32 so hopefully its achievable!

    Any more races planned for the near future? I have a 5k next weekend, a 10 the weekend after and another 5k on New Years Eve, I'm going to close out 2009 focused on running :)

    Love your goals...especially running for your Mom...my sister has MS as well but it is pretty well under control so she's able to do just about everything she wants to. Still worry about her.
