I've been on SparkPeople since November 2009. There has been alot of changes in my life since then; some good, some bad, and some life changing/halting moments that I thought I would never recover from.

I'm starting back at SP a little lighter this time at 203 lbs. Onederland is so close I can see it.

Life took some pretty bad turns in 2013 and I thought I was ready to pick myself up and move forward but I wasn't. Now just over 3 yrs since the most devastating thing in a parent's life can happen I know I'm ready.

I am also now on meds for type 2 diabetes and having high blood pressure not alone still on my asthma meds.

My Goals:
Overall Goals:

*Complete a 5K in 2017

Ultimately my goal weight is: 150-160.

As you can see, I haven't put down any month to month weight goals.
The real goal is to just keep moving and the weight will come off.

My Program:
Cleaning out the freezer, fridge and cupboards and going plant-based.

*Workouts: Due to some pretty serious injuries (torn elbow tendon from when I had tennis elbow and last April I slipped on ice while running and did some damage to my shoulder (silly me didn't go to doctor so healing has been long and painful) so I've had to full change up my workout plans. So for now I'm concentrating on walking, the C25K program, strength training and anything do be active with my kids including Nordic Walking. From late spring to fall when the weather co-operates get out hiking and taking in these great provincial parks.
