NEW UPDATE**** 7/7/2013
I am now SIX months pregnant! I have so far gained about 13 pounds, and I'm staying as active as ever! My workout minutes last month were 1018, exceeding my goal of 650. I've been setting monthly goals for myself, and always meeting them! I'm so proud of myself and can't wait to meet our little boy, Roman Anthony.

As of today I am 11 WEEKS PREGNANT! :)
Pre-pregnancy I was in recovery for what turned into something of an eating disorder. I had gotten down to 117 at 5 foot 6. I then got up to a healthy weight of 140. My BMI is 22 now. :) It used to be over 41, and then it was under 19!!! I've now leveled out :) and NOWWW that I've found out we are expecting a little bundle of joy :)), I have been still counting calories based on babyfit and I've only gained 1-2 pounds so far in my first trimester. I just plan on staying healthy myself so that I give birth to a healthy baby in return!! :)

Hi :) I'm Meaghan. I've lost a total of 140 lbs. I went from 257 to 117, but I've evened out at 5 foot 6 maintaining 135-140. People ask me how I do it, and to be honest, all I do is count calories! I still eat the foods I love, I just keep track of the calories. It's all about balance for me. People UNDERestimate how many calories you can eat and lose/maintain weight! To lose weight, I ate about 1550-1700 calories per day. To maintain 135-140, I consume 2600 calories per day. (I normally have a semi-active lifestyle.) I'm pretty friendly, so if you ever wanna talk, shoot me a message!

    That's great info, I asked my doctor about what a healthy calorie range is for pregancy, and she said she doesn;t necessaily give a calorie range, she just tells people to cut out junk, fried food and sodas and add more fruits and veggies and while I find that to be good advice (at all times of our life) I wanted a little bit more of a guideline.

    I have read though that if you are breastfeeding, make sure you get enough calories for you and the baby, an I am sure you will listen to your body and eat if you're hungry!

    Congrats on your pregnancy and on reaching your goal! You look great!! When my bf and I got pregnant I gained a lot of weight, lost it, and somehow by trying to make fast meals and all the hectic things in between I gained it all back :( He is now my husband, our daughter is 3 and we want another one! Have to get back to "me" before that though. Good Job Girly!

    Wow! I feel really inspired looking at your page. It's so refreshing to hear someone who lost a lot of weight using a 1500-1800ish calorie range. It is similar to mine, yet often if I tell people I ate 1800 calories they think I'm kidding myself. It can be discouraging, even though I know I've lost alot of weight before eating that much every day. Anyway, I think it's great that you've shared that. I think it will give a lot of people a lot of hope. Thank you.
