UPDATE 12~30~11
I am back. I am finally able to do Zumba with minamal pain to my knee. I am feeling like me again. That I can Transform back into who I was before the car accident. I am very ready to be accountable to myself and ready to hit my goals. 2012 is going to be such an amazing year. Starting with being with the love of my life New Years Eve. Yes 2 years in a row I get a New Years kiss. I believe that I will be engaged sometime this year and I have alway wanted to be size 8 before getting married again. In my head that is the perfect size don't ask me why since i have never been that size. Not even in High School size 12 has been my standard size since I can remember. I was in size 10 brifely and have been heavier than size 12 in the past but my body can maintain size 12 easily. I am ready for my body to be size 8 and love it! (:

UPDATE 9~28~11

April of 2010 was the start. I went through a break up and lost a Grandmother who was very obese. This loss made me start on the path to healthy living. I took up running and I went from 210 down to 165 by October. I ran my first 10k at the end of September and decided that a 1/2 was next. October 23 put a block in my plans. I was in a very serious car accident being hit head on and injuring my Right Knee and back. I wasn't able to exercise for several months and did physical therapy. I ran my first 5k since the accident April 2011 and ran my very first 1/2 marathon July 2011. In Dec 2010 I officially got back with the boyfriend. This put me in a weight gaining stage. Even though I was TRYING (not very hard) to exercise and make my health a priority I gained 21 pounds back Dec 10 - Sept 11. I am now back and intend to not only BEAT these 20 pounds I gained but get to GOAL!! I have 15 weeks until my 35th Birthday. My GOAL is to be down to 155! That is 10 pound from my goal. I am currently 179 now and have lost the first 7 pounds. I know that I CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!! HOW??? Gym at least 3 days a week with at least 2 of the days with a 45 min run or longer. I am Committing to myself, my family, my friends and my sparkers that I AM going to do this and I WILL be successful!!! (:

UPDATE About me.
I am not the same person I was when I started to spark. You can read the different about me at the bottom. My name is Angela by birth though most friends call me Angie. I was blessed with 4 children, three daughters and a son. One of my blessings is watching over me daily. She was a month old when she passed away but a huge blessing to have in my life. I was married for 8 years. It was a very unhealthy marriage. I thank god that he divorced me everyday. I have learned so much about myself in the past 5 years. I can do it on my own though I didn't make time for myself at all until I learned I was important too. I now make time to run, visit with friends and just relax. A happy healthy me is one of the greatest things I can do for my kids. I have been on the health path before but this time was different I did it for myself and because I lost a loved one in my life that had battled obesity for years. She was an amazing woman that was limited to things she could do because of her weight. I also had become limited to what I could do with 210 pounds on my body. I am happy to say that I am down to 168 now. I am still limited right now just because I was in a serious car accident in October but not because of my weight. My Dr's have said that my recovery would have been a lot harder if i hadn't been as fit. I am still overweight but I am VERY close to being healthy. (: I can't express the electricity I have running through my body when I am high on life. I love to run. I am a runner, I am no longer an unhappy person. Life is good and it is getting better every day.

I am a single mom. I have had 4 kids. I have a 12 year old daughter in 7th grade, a 10 year old son in 5th grade and a 6 year old daughter who just started school this year. I had a daughter pass away in 2002. No reason so she is classified as a SIDS case. Katelynn's death was the hardest yet most rewarding thing I have ever had to go through. Her life of a month was so amazing. She touched so many lives and changed my outlook on life forever. I am forever greatful blessed for having such a wonderful blessing even though she was here such a short time. I was marred for 8 years and have been divorced for 4 years now. Last year I did the biggest losers with some friends and lost about 40 pounds. Then went through a very bad break up and chocolate became my friend. My best friend. It has been a little over a year since chocolate and I became so intamate and after gaining all of my weight back and beating myself up for it I have decided that I want to be healthy for life. That I have ready to get back on the path and stay there. That I know I can do this and am so thankful to have found such a great site to help me in the journey. So that is me in a nutshell.

I am very sweet, loyal and genuwine person. I care about others and put others before my needs. I am changing that! I am important and I am puting my health at the top of the list.

    Good morning Lovely! I am glad you had a good weekend - mine was crummy. Mother in law took the girls for a couple of weeks (scheduled visit) and I bawled! The house is so quiet and I don't have anyone to walk after work! The class I taught on Saturday went well and I've almost finished the quilt I am working on so the weekend wasn't a total dud - just sad. I have the 5K coming up in 6 weeks, so I'll pedge to 250 minutes of running next month. If I am within 60 of that by 2/21 I'll re-adjust for more. Does that work?

    I do a little of Zumba on Youtube. It is fun. Alot of steps. I like the one you do with the square steps and the others. I know you love that. it is some work out. I just do what I can but your younger of course. Your top profile is very sweet on you. Love your dress and your hair. Very becoming on you. Your a very pretty young lady. Keep up the good work.

    Happy Wednesday! I hope today started off well at least. Sounds like the past few days have been dumpy. Gotta remember to start each day new - not as a continuation of yesterday, or at least I do - that is where I get stuck and can go three days without coming out of a funk. But, last night I killed the funk! I ran a full 1.5 miles in 15 minutes! I don't think I had much more in me, but I am on track to having a better pace for the Shamrock than I did for the beWell. Yay! Now its your turn - kill the funk!
