I am back to SP in order to resume my accountability for my eating and exercise habits. I began this journey years ago near 225 pounds and have subsequently settled in around 184 recently.
I had gotten down to 171 last spring, but a return to familiar people and places led me astray for a bit- but no more!! I graduated with my PhD this past August and have begun my postdoctoral career, all while raising 4 kids and training for half and full marathons- anyone that can handle that should be able to get health and fitness goals accomplished right? :-)

I for one am glad to see that you have returned. Wow, congratulations on the doctoral degree. Maybe we should refer to you as Dr. MomEditor from now on. hehe
Plenty of time to train for those spring marathons.
    Good luck to you Sandy.

Thanks for leading me to SP! What does your fitness regime look like now that you are home? I am thinking about registering for "My first 5K" sponsored by USM and the Wellness Center. I wish you were here to train with me...and I miss you.

Hey there Sandy, I was just thinking about you and wondering how you were doing.

Hope everything is well; looks like you are BUSY!

anyway, you cross my mind, and I send you good wishes and prayers whenever that happens.

How is going with your "personal trainer?"
I think it would be cool just to be able to mention in passing that
I was off to meet my personal trainer.
So, does your trainer have you running any combined runs, one part faster than your normal pace? Or are you getting trained in the arts of weights or biking, or all-around fitness? Interested in what you might learn. Pass some on, please.
