Introduction Text UPDATED 5-21-11!!! On May 10, 2011 my family and I were blessed with the birth of our 2nd son Wilson "WIL" who was 7 lbs. 2 oz & 20 inches long. He's a laid-back easy baby and we are in baby bliss! On a separate note I've already lost the 22 lbs. I gained w/ my pregnancy plus 5 additional pounds. I feel great and am looking forward to getting back on track with my weight-loss and continuing on my journey to a NEW ME! Back on the SP Bandwagon Raring to go!!! :) ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ In September 2009 I had lap band. It’s been an interesting journey – constantly learning what I can and can’t have or do. My surgery went off without a hitch, no problems and 1 adjustment under my 10 cc belt I am good to go. To date I’ve lost 37 lbs and will be having my 2nd adjustment in the coming weeks. It helps when you’re married to someone and learn together. It’s been an amazing experience to share. I will say SP has been extremely instrumental in me being where I am at today the support, motivations and friends are unreal. The teams are always there in EVERY way shape or form! Find one that fits you join in and RUN WITH IT!!!! - In the year and a ½ that I have been a member of SP I have accomplished a lot. I’ve shared, I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, I’ve failed, I’ve accomplished. It feels good. To be honest I feel that I am held more accountable, inspired, motivated, helped and given little gifts along the way. How do you ask? Well – add friends, join teams – utilize EVERY tool offered. You won’t be sorry! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi, my name is Elizabeth ~ otherwise known as MommaAshley. I am 34 years young & happily married to my amazing husband Jason. We have 3 kids - Hannah age 10, Hallie age 8, and Sam age 4. I have been heavy for about 17 years. You do realize of course my DONE List could be as long as a race track and beyond? That’s because I think I have umpteen things to add to it daily. *wink * MY WEIGHT & GOALS: Here’s where I am, and where I want to be: My true ultimate goal is to lose 150-175 lbs; so far I've lost 100 lbs. - a lot but not enough. Lapband surgery was a blessing and I am blessed to have had it. Change in diet has been SO different. EXERCISE: As for exercise I am: Taking walks with my schnauzer, Maggie Jumping on the trampoline (Yes I actually do this w/ my 4 yo son) Participating in Water aerobics at the local YMCA/Swimming laps DIET: I eat several small portioned meals and snacks daily. I drink water, fruit juices, and sugar free tea. I gave up sodas which I never thought I could do, but it has been so much better. Fruits and veggies, and lean meats and fish have become an important part of my daily diet. I also eat a lot of 100 calorie snack items, fruit cups and yogurt. WORDS OF INSPIRATION - MOTIVATION Words are always an amazing gift in what they carry. Some people are inspired more by little thoughts they can take with them and utilize. I am a mixture - I enjoy various things to motivate and inspire me. I am constantly adding new quotes and bible verses to my SP: MY ULTIMATE MOTTO: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." I have several. :) - Lose 150- 175 lbs or more! - Be healthy & all health issues disappear. - Have one more baby (if this is God's plan) - Wear a form fitting dress and WOW my man! ;)

Here's what I am doing: - Consume no more than 1200-1500 calories per day (slip ups do occur sometimes) - Exercise by swimming laps/water aerobics/walking/jumping on trampoline/chasing my kids. - Drink 8 or more glasses daily - Eat more water soluble fruits & veggies
