Surely you're not tired of zucchini yet---fritters, bread, pizza, steamed, fried, sauteed, pickled--have you tried them all?

I deliberately did not plant zucchini knowing that someone would be begging me to take a dozen before the season was out. About this time of year there is a good sized pile on the kitchen counter in the office with the sign: Free, Help Yourself! PLEASE!!

Thanks for the comment on my blog! I know I've come a really long way! I just wish telling my company that when it comes down to if I pay health insurance or not, would go by it! Good thing, I don't have to pay, the torture I went through won't have to be done again as I won't have an unhealthy BMI after this one! We have to weigh-in annually and if we smoke or are over 27.5 BMI we have to pay.

Here is what happen in the TT .... I'll post it as well at the LBS too.

I really pushed it tonight. I attribute this because of Melissa. There were only 5 of us tonight and we were trying to decide order. Based on who showed up ... I knew I was going to end up being last and passed;-)

Melissa said Jim I'll switch with you that way you can try and chase me down. I told her she was on. And the race was on as well. She was very good incentive. I tried to maintain distance and was trying to close in on her. I think I should have just maintained the distance and then hammered it a little more on the back half. What was nice is when I noticed I was losing ground because of lack of focus I reached down and tried to even pedal harder. I was really mashing the gears tonight and kept the cadence to around 75 - 85 in places I dipped down to 65.

There was a little bit of a head wind but very suddle.

I did not catch Melissa and I forgot to stop the computer after the finish line but when I met up with Melissa in the slow down recovery section and slowed down I saw my computer at 23:10 so I knew I beat my 23:30 time I wanted.

Melissa did 22:06:19 and I did 22:12:03 (mins; secs; tenths) We both did great. She admitted at the end that I was a motivator for her as well because she did not want me to pass her tonight.

I think we will be using each other quit frequently from now on to have a little competition between us. She mentioned another rider in the group tonight that she tries to ride after in a TT and it just so happens to be the same person I wanted to eventually build up to as well.

I can hardly wait until the next and last TT of the season in Sept.
So far here is what I have done in all three TTs: 1st: 26:28 (18.14 mph); 2nd: 24:05 (19.93 mph); 3rd: 22:12 (21.62 mph). So far I have decreased my time by 4 minutes and 16 seconds.
