I noticed your "weight loss progress" bar is at or below goal. I'm excited for you. How does it feel? If you notice my bar, you'll notice it just hasn't budged since I started. Any words of wisdom are welcome.

A champagne toast to everyone, a loud cheer from the throngs of observers, slaps on the back all around, and a mighty "Hi Ho Silver"....oh, sorry incorrect analogy.

The TransAmerican (virtual) Bike Tour has begun. Go to the "Across the United States" SparkTeam message board to log your miles and journal entries. We are so glad you will be joining us.

You can click on the Across the United States Team picture and go directly to the map/route whenever you wish. Let's keep in touch with this message board at least once a week. If you don't get any miles in, just journal to the rest of us that you're stuck in Timbuktoo waiting for bike parts or something. We can only encourage each other if we are in contact.

Please unsubscribe to our team emails at any time and we'll stop buggin' you. If you know of anyone else who might be interested in joining us, pass the word along.

Now, get out there and see the country from your bicycle.

WooHoo!!!! We are awesome. We are Sparkcyclists!!!

    Hi there,
Thanks for the kudos on making my first 52 mile ride. Oh my, attitude does have much to do with avoiding the gigantic climbs this time around helps too. The century is a "no hills ride" in Nevada, so being prepared for climbs isn't as important right now. And, I'm finding I am getting stronger. I also go to spin class which I LOVE. I have been doing this for about 5 years and someday, I would like to be an instructor for spin.

You are doing awesome!...can you just taste your goal weight?! LOL I bet you are full esteem ahead being that close! And, I discovered a new team from your page, Freedom Riders! How do you like that team?

Again, thanks for the kudos, the supportive environment at SP makes all the difference in the world for me.

    happy spinnin'

Wow. Way to go on the weight and health. You are a great inspiration for me, since my start and goal weights are very similar to yours, but I've not gotten to within two pounds of goal like you. WooHoo for you. Hopefully everyones encouragement as we cycle across the US will get me to my goal. Thanks again for coming along. Patty
