    Girl, what can I say...it is an everyday battle. I have been on spark since February and I have only lost 14 lbs in that time. I wanted to be at my goal by my birthday which is in Feb. and I still have 31 pounds to go. (NOT GONNA HAPPEN) It is a constant struggle with some easy days and some hard days. Sometimes I do great and sometimes I fail. I have pretty much only lost a pound a month in the past six months. In the beginning things went much faster which made it easier to stay focused. on the plus side...I have not given up and I totally live by the "every day is a new day" philosophy. Yesterday I did great, then found out a friend of the family passed away and my bf took me to my favorite restaurant and so "hello emotional eating"...
    SO with today being a new day I will start over. Breakfast was a slim fast and a fat free cappachino. I brought fresh veggies and an apple for snacks and a light soup for lunch. After work I will do C25K week 4 day 2 and maybe some strength training because I have been slacking there. Then it will be time to think of dinner. I hope to have a plan together for dinner before I get home because a plan always works out better than winging it for me.
    I literally do yo-yo weight loss. My weight fluctuates by 3 lbs on a daily basis. sometimes I am up and sometimes I am down. I weigh every day but only change my tracker on here at the end of every month. good or bad. this morning i was at 169 and as you can see my ticker says 166...this is not unusual...but i have to keep a close watch to make sure i get it back down (and hopefully drop a few more) by the end of November. The over all trend is that i have lost a pound a month with the exception of the first two months. The difference between then and now is that I was WAY more diligent in tracking food...and I think when you first start the healthy lifestyle process the weight drops faster...you know giving up soda was my first step and dropped 5 lbs in one week from that alone! It is much harder to lose a pound now than it was then. It gets frustrating but at least i haven't gained it all back, right? I guess that is what keeps me here. keeps me plugging away at a snail's pace.
    Omg sorry for such a long post, I guess I really just needed to get that off my chest and you happened to be the lucky one who asked me how I was, lol!
    I am really glad you are back on spark! How have you been lately? Come on I owe you one...you can totally spill your guts to me now!
