You know I've been tracking in some fashion for 8 months now... and it takes time.. and some day I start and never finsih but 80% of the time I do...
I'm watching macro's since I kinda screwed this up in the start...
This is what I do 1500 cals 113 protein 30-50 fat 150 carbs 48 whole grains 4 veggies or more 1 fruit (too high in carbs for more) 25 fiber 16 or less sat. fat out of the 30-50 above
I don't follow a planof food because life is way to complicated to plan like that for me. Plus it never fails there are things on a plan I don't like, don't want and so on...
I did make up my own "go to" groups...
like if I need more whoel grains but an low on carbs - 2 reg (not even low fat) triscut crackers do the trick... I also have a revolving breakfast go-to so morning are easy
Your a busy mom.. I highly recommend spending a weekend making sets of "go-to" groups. I pre snack bag on Sunday nights and life is much less measure and calculate and track, measure and calculate and track.
