Introduction Text My name is Stephanie & I am 22 years old. I used to be in shape back in highschool, when I played sports, specifically basketball. I used to run all the time and eat so well. And for some reason, I just stopped and I have put on so much weight, just about 55 pounds from my lowest weight of 130. I don't know how I let myself get that way, because 50 pounds does not just happen over night, but its my fault for letting myself get out of control. And lately, it seems that almost everyone around me has just been shrinking and I've been getting bigger. My lil sister has always been the 'big' one and recently shes dropped about 40 pounds. She looks AMAZING, my best friend Michelle (pictured at the right) is on Jenny Craig and she has lost 40 pounds (and counting) and another friend of mine, Kim has also lost a bunch of weight. I am so happy for all of them....but ITS MY TURN. All of my friends are thin and gorgeous and I just feel so gross when I am out with them, like I just don't fit in. I know they are my friends and its not what I look like, but I know I will be more comfortable around them if I just lost some weight, and I would be happier with myself. ....

I am hoping to lose about 40 pounds overall. Since 1-2 pounds per week is a safe amount to lose and everntually maintain, that is what I am aiming for. I want to be comfortable in my own skin.

I am actually still a college student and I am studying Exercise & Sport Science, and am currently interning as a personal trainer. Kind of crazy since I need to lose the weight (first) but I am learning a bunch of new exercise techniques and routines that I am applying to myself as well. I just mainly need to focus more on the nutrition aspect of the whole weight loss program.

I am new to this site, but I have a MySpace (www.myspace.com/fifi522) feel free to leave me comments and messages on here or there. I like to meet new people and I believe that people working towards a common goal (weight loss or healthier lifestyle) working together, it is much easier to achieve!

I am a HUGE Boston Red Sox fan!!! I love sports but I adore my Red Sox...ever see Fever Pitch - thats me!! hah. Definitely a sports lover so, feel free to chit chat with me anytime about a game!! The more I can learn and make friends, the better!!
