Favorite hobbies: Creating healthy recipes,walking, exercising, gardening, craft, reading self-help books, watching the news around the world, and enjoying quality time with my family and friends.

My Goal : is to lose 60+ pounds. I'm monitoring weight/inches.

Why I became a member: I wanted to lose weight, improve my self-esteem, gain more energy, and reduce stress. Above all, I wanted the support and encouragement to maintain proper eating and exercise habits.

Can often be found on I use every available tool, but my favorites — and most used — are the My Nutrition Food Log, My fitness Daily Workout Routines. is usually the second thing I click on after my email every morning and the last thing I click at night.

Favorite board: I enjoy reading all the teams forums, but if I had to choose one, it would unquestionably be the Muslim sisters support team. The members are welcoming and offer incredible encouragement and support. Everyone is responsive, pleasant, and sociable. But I must say all the teams offer a family-oriented atmosphere that makes everyone feel special.

Favorite Excercises : An old but very good video: Step Aerobics, Park Walking and Hiking. Soon I will add jogging, I'm trying to jogg when I walk and I'm finding that I'm getting better everytime.

Biggest accomplishment so far: I learned is you are what you eat! , I have gained inner strength and self-confidence, which empowers me to overcome any obstacles blocking my living a healthy lifestyle today and forever, Insha'Allah.

Best Part of about SP site: I love the positive attitude, upbeat enthusiasm, determination of the people here, The convenience of calculating you food intake and exercising at home with no expensive gym memberships which have beena lifesavers and time-savers in preparing meals and calculating calories. I love too

Be content with what you have until you pursue what you want. Make food secondary part of life by being satisfied with good deeds, being close to God, family and friends, Doing meaningful things in life, thus allowing little time to dwell on food.
Set realistic goals and don't procrastinate.
Remember, having the right diet and getting enough exercise will not only improve your health — it will most undeniably improve your life. Insha'Allah.
