    Thanks for your comment on my blog, and more importantly for understanding! I hear you when it comes to "pregnacy stupidity." I really struggled with that through my first pregnancy, which was also when I was doing an independent neurophysiology course and my candidacy exam. *rolls eyes* You and I are brave souls for having babies in graduate school!

    Well, herding some cats is easier than others. ;) I think the SO is mostly motivated by the trip coming up. He doesn't want to look overweight in front of his brother, so that's kicked his motivation up a bit!

    Thanks for the link! Very interesting read! This is exactly what I am trying to say, too. If a person believes they can achieve through hard work, then they work harder. If they believe they can only achieve what their natural talents say, then it is expected to be effortless, if you're supposed be good at it.
