My Goals:
Last spring I went with my family to Disneyland...and I had hit the highest weight I had ever been at 191 lbs! When we got the pictures back, I was just mortified. I decided I had to lose weight for me...so I could feel better, be more active, and just enjoy my 40's. My goal is to maintain a healthy weight and eat and exercise in a balanced, healthy way.
My Program:
Since September of 2008, I've been working out almost every morning, and journaling my exercise and food intake. I count calories daily, trying to stay under the 1500 mark. But I also feel that balance is key, so if there is something I am craving or a special occasion where I want to indulge a little, then I make a concerted effort to add more cardio the next day. I am trying to stress the long term with myself...to take it day by day, and if I have a less productive day or a day filled with less than perfect choices, I don't spiral downward, I just brush myself off and start again the next day.
Personal Information:
I am from south central Indiana, about 45 mins south of Indianapolis.
