Today is day 1 of the rest of my life. I joined SP in 2012 bouncing from 180 to 160 but it seems like happy medium is 170. I don’t like any of those numbers. Today I wiped all of my about me and will reset everything here. Why? 1. I’m a full time wife, mother, and student. 2. My mom died a couple of months ago. 3. I have asthma and high cholesterol that is being managed my medication. 4. I have serious back issues that were exasperated when caring for my mom. 5. God is bigger than anything and I need to take control of my daily habits. I’m done with hurting. I’m done with not being able to do what I enjoy. I need to keep moving forward. Goals: See neurosurgeon. Get tested for allergies. Find a workable anti-inflammatory meal plan while I’m in college, and can be flexible for when I’m working. (And one flavorful for hubs) Loose 5 pounds a month. Not harsh myself. Here’s to the first day of the rest of my life.

My Goals:
I'm 40 something and need to be in better condition and lower triglycerides.

Long term:
Get to 140 pounds by my birthday 2016. (see new goals under update)

Short term:
Eat healthier and track intake.
Spend more time being active a day, at least 10, and track it.
GO OUTSIDE!!

End all be all:
Feel and look healthier.
Lower cholesterol
Set a good example to my family.


My Program:
Program:
SparkPeople calorie intake guidelines.
Walk 5 miles or more a week.
Get out into the Red Rock/Sedona area of my neighborhood.
Be active, 10 minutes a day, doing whatever makes me happy.



Personal Information:
I live in Arizona now. Have been married since 1991 and have a son with autism.
I was homeschooling him and he's now in public school. That is an answer to my prayers and better for my health. He did not like going outside, and I LOVE going outside!
I work for God in everything I do and my health should not be left out!


Other Information:
Whew! My days are busy!

I read my Bible and find strength and encouragement in it. I have a bestie friend who has a heart condition and understands.
