I am 32 years old and live in NM! I was 258 pounds when I gave birth to my daughter and I was 30 pounds overweight when I got pregnant (I had quit those damn cigarettes) and have lost 84 pounds over the last 3 years. This has been by far THE hardest thing I have ever done and continue to do. When I met my husband I was 128 pounds. Oh sweet 120's! I am tired of 'maintaining' at the weight I am at, even though I don't mean too. I work out a lot and have a tendency to fall off the wagon come friday on eating. This has changed because I WILL reach my 100 pound weight loss mark by Xmas. I am so close I can taste it. I have a pair of jeans that are tired of hanging on the back of my bathroom door and want to be worn. I want to enjoy running again and my muscles enjoy feeling sore and fit. I want to be an athlete again.

I am participating in a spring triathlon in September 2009 as the swimmer. This will be the first event I have done in a decade and since gaining all this weight. My next goal is a 5K in October.

I faithfully drinks at least 3 liters of water a day and I really try to eat clean and healthy.

Time to sweat, drink water and sweat. Cheers to FINALLY losing my fat butt.

I did my first Tri Swim today as part of a team at this weight I am at and I am proud of myself for finishing with a swim time of 7:05!

My Program:
I love, love, love yoga.
I love, love, love swimming.

I am swimming 3-4 nights a week. This is my main source of cardio. I also do strength training 3 days a week. I picked up running again and am averaging 3 nights a week.

I stay away from packaged foods and sugar. I concentrate on high protein and low carb and just eat healthy. I only drink water, hot tea and coffee. If I want a glass of wine, I have it.

Personal Information:
I live in NM. The seasons are great and there is plenty to do outdoors!

I grow alot of my own veggies and herbs and love it!!

Other Information:
It's never too late to be what you might have been.

I faithfully drink at least 3 liters of water a day, and I always forget to post it.

    How are you doing? I've been so far off the wagon, it's unreal! But, as I've said before, I'm back!

    I'm going to start swimming tonight for at least part of my weekly cardio...gotta do something to shake things up and ge tme motivated again! Any tips?

    Thanks for the encouragement! I'm liking it..I'm on day three and my legs are on fire (see my blog for details! LOL) But I'm sticking with it...have to see what kind of results I'll get if I follow through. (I already know what I'll get if I don't, so why not try something new, eh?)
    Did you do the shred? Did you do 10 days on each level or longer? Did you shred each day or take some off?
    Swimming still going good, I see! That's awesome!

    My hubby retired from the Army, so we are relocating to Dallas. Our house closes 2 weeks from today, so I have a week and a half before the packers come and I am NOT ready!!! We are also trying to look for a new house in Dallas which isn't as fun or smooth as I expected but oh well! We just have to be patient! So, my priorities are all crazy right now, but I'm trying to get eating better because with all my inspections/repairs/issues w/ my current house I don't have a lot of time for exercise right now! ;-)
