Maintaining a routine, when you're a fly-by-your-seat type
I'm here to lose it, like the rest. As my friend said to me, when we began a different weight loss journey years ago, "All I can say to myself is, 'I ate it.'" I've lost 22 lbs since early February. I've been on spark for years, but recommitted in 2016. I'm in my 30s, and live with my husband, our young daughters, 2 cats and a Siberian Husky. I've been on spark for years, but recommitted in 2016. I'm in my 30s, and live with my husband, our young daughters, 2 cats and a Siberian Husky. I work part-time from home for a pharma company as a writer. I have a fitbit, walk my 10,000 steps regularly, and like yoga, pilates, kettlebells and my elliptical machine.

My Goals:
I would like to lose 30 pounds. I may want to lose more after that, but this is my starting place. My goal is to stay on a low carb, lean protein diet and to exercise as much as possible.
My Program:
I have a Fitbit and walk 12,000 steps per day. I am attending exercise classes twice a week. I am eating consciously and tracking what I eat religiously. I am staying around 1200 calories a day (I'm short - 5'4" and this is fine for me).
Personal Information:
I am from NJ, about 20 miles outside of NYC. I'm an active mom who enjoys doing things with my kids - library visits, museums, parks, playdates - you name it, we do it.
Other Information:
I love rock and metal music. My favorite bands are Buckcherry, Nickelback and Pantera. I also like Pink, Natalie Merchant, and Sara Bareilles. I like pretty much any type of live music. I love to travel and explore, and have been to most islands in the Caribbean.
