Hi! I'm 28, a Payroll Specialist for First Financial Bank. I sit in front of a computer all day. After college, getting a car and quitting smoking I gained about 70 pounds. I have tried everything from Trim Spa to the 3 hour diet to cleaning out my pantry and filling it with "healthy" foods. Right now I am the heaviest I have EVER been, and I'm pretty disappointed with myself.

This page is to help me meet others that are going through the same thing I am. And to keep my motivated and on the right track. I'm going to stick with this.

I am now married, as of April 2007. I still want to work on my hips and the pouch stomach in the front. It's hard when your husband tells you that it's time to start doing the crunches.

It's hard, I have to sit in front of a computer all day, and making healthy meals is hard. I honestly don't remember the last time I cooked, cause I don't have time. I go to work and by the time I run erronds and get home, it's 8PM and I have nothing made or defrosted. I NEED HELP! I have SO put on the marriage weight it SUCKS!

Well - feel free to message me!

My Goals:
My goal is to loose the love handles and the belly fat, along with 50lbs... before my I go back home to see my family again. And then to maintain the tone of my body and have a better and healthier life style.

My Program:
I'm counting my calories, eliminating soda from my daily liquids and I am trying to eat healthier and I plan on setting a program of workout each day during the week, and spending more time outside on the weekends. :-)

Personal Information:
I'm from Roxborough/Manayunk area of Philadelphia. But now being married to the military, I live in Abilene, TX. You can contact me any time at noreenjross@yahoo.com...I love getting emails!!

Other Information:
As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.

Hello. I was just browsing the site, and came across your page.
I wanted to take this opportunity to invite you to our team. It is called "OVERCOMING OBSTACLES".
It is a forum that my wife (Tickle*Me*Pink-aka Carol) formed. At first, it was for people with a disabitliy, but now it's expanded to everyone..disability or no disability. As a matter of fact, more then 1/2 of the group do not have a disability. Carol says "it's like a bunch of angels carrying all of us to our goals"

The link is located on my sparkpage, and the main discussion room is still named "disabiltiies group".
People post their successes in life, their obstacles, their personal stories, motivation to succeed, advice, different health obstacles, parents' topics, different age rooms, losing baby fat, books insight, crafts, literary, recipes, motivation..etc.etc..and there's even a thread for jokes(to name only a few).. There are many little challenges posted , to give us a little added "spark", too.. (maybe you can come up with a challenge too--all you need to do is to contact Tickle*Me*Pink through sparkmail or check out her sparkpage..)..if you don't feel up to a challenge for now, you will definately find comfort and encouragement in any of the rooms you browse in...

I was hoping that you will click the link, join the group, and come to post in the main room,("disabilities group forum") & maybe share some of your own successes, obstacles, goals, etc..for us to all get aquainted, better. As you read some of the posts in there, you will see some amazing accomplishments, before and after joining sparkpeople. Spark coach Jen is a member of our team, also, and is willing to help everyone.

We hope to welcome you! (my wish is that everyone here on sparkpeople has a place to meet..wether they attend to other groups, I feel it is important that there is a place like that..PLEASE feel freeee to invite your friends in with you..I know they'll be almost as delighted as we are to welcome you to the" place where people congregate"!! )
I hope you will click on my sparkpage, and add a comment if you need any questions answerred. (or you can sparkmail Carol or myself..we are more then willing to help)

    Jack
p.s..I admit.. this invite is a bit long..you'll be surprised though..when you read my posts in the forum..they are short LOL well.. except for some of the jokes..which I am trying to shorten LOL (I just wanted to tell you as much as I could here, to make you comfortable and familiar and to feel welcomed)
