    thanks for stopping by my blog! You know, I've thought a hundred times... if I would just do some muscle stretching exercises while watching tv, driving, whatever...it would be really helpful. I'll have to get a visual reminder...like tattoo it on my TV or something...lol. Good mom, making you goodies! Just direct her to the lowfat recipe section and let her gooooo....lol.

    Thanks for your comments on my blog about What a Girl My Size Can Do. I love bicycle riding! When I started exercising again, last June, that is what I did. I rode my bike every evening and worked up to riding 25 miles on Saturdays. As I got healthier and lighter and the weather got colder, I switched to walking/jogging and loved it so much. Now I'm looking forward to warm weather so I can get that bike back out!

    With regards to strength training - I totally agree it makes the biggest difference. I incorporated some form of strength training/toning into my weekly workouts a year ago and I'm sure that's why I don't have loose flabby skin! I started out cycling and doing home dvd workouts before moving onto the gym, now I alternate between high and low intensity cardio and weights and I also do yoga which I love for improving core strength and increasing flexibility. I'm trying a new class tomorrow - hips, bums and tums, which is all for toning your lower body and I seriously can't wait!!
    I hope you reap the benefits of exercise in your program too :-)
