THANKS FOR ADDING ME AS A FRIEND! AM I RIGHT IN THINKING YOU LIVE IN OREGON? I AM DOING THE "VIRTUAL WALK/RUN/BIKE ACROSS THE U.S." I STARTED IN VIRGINIA AND THE END IS IN OREGON. I'M CONSIDERING TRAVELING THERE TO MAKE THE LAST MILES AN "ACTUAL WALK" ON THE TRAIL RATHER THAN "VIRTUAL". THAT'S A FEW YEARS OUT, OF COURSE. MAYBE BY THEN I'LL BE RUNNING! STRANGER THINGS HAVE HAPPENED! emoticon

LOVE your calendar idea and focusing on what you have done! Way to stay positive and upbeat!

Walking in the sand will kick butt and really burn those calories. I bought Sketcher Shape-Ups a few weeks ago and that is how I describe them to people, its like walking in the sand. I have noticed they are not good for stationary exercise, walking in place, aerobics... they are made to hit the pavement!

    Hope you weekend is great!

Hi, how are you today? I saw your post on EE safe place. I feel the need to suggest something called a light lamp or a light box. You can find them on ebay for a resonable price. What they do is simulate sunlight and they can be very helpful to people who get blue from lack of sunshine. When you use it just sit under it when you first wake up.That could help! O and I don't think they draw that much electiricty. emoticon

Congrats on your progress! I read over your page and loved your goals and insight... then I see your progess and I was completely WOW'd!

I too started my journey this year, I actually started a blog called 365 Days with the 330 Pound Woman. I have set out to overcome obesity and my addiction to food this year. I don't expect to be my goal weight of 135 pounds in December but I do hope to have overcome the addiction I fight daily and be a much healthier person mentally and physically.

I look forward to getting to know you and following your journey as well.

Please take a moment to check out my blog, if you like, join it and please feel free to leave your feedback, it really makes a difference to have support!

I like your thought for today. I have a calendar and I was thinking of doing that very thing. I'm going to get it started that way I can see my progress. Thanks for posting a great idea. emoticon
