    •A few main benefits of sunlight is that it stimulates your appetite and improves your digestion, elimination, and metabolism.

    •Getting your daily dose of sunshine will enhance your immune system. It increases the number of white blood cells in your blood. It also helps them to be better fighters in their mission to destroy germs.

    •Sunshine encourages healthy circulation. It also stimulates the production of more red blood cells which increases the amount of oxygen in your blood.

    •Sunlight is one of the most effective healing agents that exists.

    •Feeling down? One of the major benefits of sunlight is that it will
    soothe your nerves and boost your mood leaving you with a renewed sense of well-being. Sunlight increases the production of endorphins and serotonin in your brain which will definitely leave you feeling much better.

    •Getting enough sunlight during the day can help you sleep better at night. If you are exposed to natural light during the day, it will increase your melatonin output at night. Melatonin is a natural hormone made by our bodies. It enhances sleep and slows down the aging process.

    7. WEEK 7 - Steps - A 20 minute mile is a reasonable heart rate pace if you are in moderately good shape. A mile is approximately 2000 steps. If you have a pedometer pop it on for this one. If you do not have a pedometer we will give you a way to count by timing yourself. Don't worry if your pedometer doesn't agree with these numbers. Yours may have a different setting. Just get to 2000 steps or 20 minutes.

    BONUS - Your bonus will be increase to 3000 steps or 30 minutes for 3 days this week. Again it may be done at one time or broken into segments.

    Note: For those who cannot do this, then the challenge is water therapy - 20 minutes 3 days of the week. Bonus: Water therapy 5 days of the week.
    No access to water? ASK ME! We'll come up with something...even if it's in your chair or on a bike.

    Make a list of 5 things you have not had time to do for yourself. Then do one of these things this week. It can not be anything you want to buy or do for a friend or family member.
