Changing my life
I have been trying to lose weight for years - sometimes successfully, sometime not so much. With SP I want to find success to keep by changing my attitude as well as my weight and fitness level. If I can support and encourage others along the way I would be honored.

Long term goal lose 66 lbs.
Short term:1 lb/week
Be Fit and Healthy
by increasing my fitness minutes each week.
My Program:
Use SP food plans and/or recipes
Do the recommended exercises to the best of my physical ability.
Participate in the two teams from which I can get the most helpful informaiton and be the most support.
Be positive!
Work through the pain!
Be patient!

My name is Barbara. I was born in Los Angeles, grew up in the San Fernando Valley section of Los Angeles, now live in the Ventura area of Southern California where we retired. My career was community organizing and grant management. We have 5 grandchildren between us and they are our joy. I am currently an interfaith spiritual director.
Other Information:
My hobbies are music - listening, playing, and singing; reading; scrapbooking.
My passion is my grandchildren.
