I am an obese, 45-year-old mom of 7. I've struggled with my weight since puberty when I thought I was fat because I had curves when the other girls didn't. I let myself spiral upwards in weight until I truly became fat then obese.

With a family of 9 life is CRAZY! I've lost myself along the way making myself have one foot in the grave and chaos in every aspect of my life.

I've chosen the name "Overhauling-Me" because that's what I'm doing. I need one huge overhaul! I know deep down there is a classic beauty who runs well in ALL aspects. It will be a Loooong project but definitely worthwhile.

Starting Weight: 3/26/11 325lbs BMI: 45.32 Morbidly Obese
25 Pounds Gone: 5/20/11 299.8lbs BMI: 41.81 Morbidly Obese

Update: January 3, 2012
So, 2011 didn't end up to well. After losing 30lbs by June 8th I fell off track. Thankfully I didn't put all my weight back on and finished the year down eight pounds. Weighed in at 317. Here's to a new year.

Starting Weight: 301.6 Starting BMI: 42.06
Ending Weight: 287.8 Ending BMI: 40.11
Pounds Gone: 13.8 Year to date Gone: 29.2
Starting Weight: 317 Starting BMI: 44.21 (M. Obese)
Ending Weight: 301.6 Ending BMI: 42.06
Pounds Gone: 15.4 Year to date Gone: 15.4

My Program:
As of 1/3/12
I plugged my goals into SP and was told to eat *1470-1860 calories.
*Drink 8-8oz of water.
*Workout (DVD, treadmill or walking) a minimum of 30min 5 days a week
*training to walk a Half marathon, May 11th, 2013
*Log everything on Spark People

Program will change as the weight loss slows

    I've had a crazy busy schedule the past couple of weeks, and haven't been able to spend much time on the computer. I was just going through my inbox, and noticed some e-mails I had missed. Among them was a notice that you had added me as a sparkfriend. Thanks! The encouragement and support I have felt from sparkfriends have been very motivating for me. I'm sure you'll find the same thing! I happened upon sparkpeople accidentally in April of 2009, thought it sounded interesting, so I joined. Because of my busy schedule, I forgot about it, and never made it back to the site until mid August. Thank goodness I found it again, and decided to jump in! Good luck with reaching your goals! I notice you have seven kids, and love to read. How old are your children?
