Introduction Text My name is Faye and as my Spark name states I am OVERWEIGHT. I can only state that 3 times in my life have I been at my right weight. The summer before 12 th grade my mother let me go to our family doctor to get medicine to help. I wish I could do that again. I was so proud. The weight came back later plus more. I wasted so many years of my life because I was fat. I didn't want to do anything that would draw attention to me. I now know I would have done things differently. Anyone reading this... Know what matters in life. Your weight is not who you are so do everything in life that you want to do. Weight is important for your health. Overweight is bad for your heart, knees, state of mind, and more. It's great to have Sparkpeople so you can have support and encouragement for the road ahead of you. I have a lot of weight to lose but in the meantime I have a loving husband, 5 children, 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one on the way. I love babies and seeing all their energy. I just need to learn how to bottle the excess energy and sell it. Instance millionaire!!! LOL

My Goals 1. to weigh about 180 lbs. 2. to be healthy 3. to be able to walk without giving out of breath after 15 mins. 4. to see all 18 grandchildren grow up 5. to see 12 great grandchildren grow up

So far, I have not done my best to lose weight. I am now trying but not as hard as I should. The weight I have lost so far is by cutting out sweet tea, sodas, and bread. We hardly ever fry foods or use salt.
