Go PINK Flamingos! Springin into Fitness!

Back on SP after 3 very difficult years for me. New plan is intermittent fasting - OMAD. Love the WOE and what it does for my lifestyle (cheaper, less decision making throughout the day, less binging and mindless eating and so much more). Moved near a river with great walking paths and loving long walks with my dog and exploring new areas. I did gain weight over the past few years but not back to my original. Working my way down very slowly now.

January 29, 2015 - update
25 pounds down! Half way there. Took exactly 13 months, so averaged about half a pound per week (though with plenty of ups and downs). Won't reach my original goal by my 50th birthday in less than 5 months, but that's ok. Willing to wait another year for the next 25 pounds if needed. Slow and pretty steady is really the way to go as it creates a more permanent change. Yay!

I am a year and a half away from 50. Turning 40 felt like entering middle age which did not go over well with me (I know, should have been grateful....). Heading toward 50 feels very different - now with 8+ more years of emotional growth under my belt, it feels like it can be a fresh start, not a downhill slide. I can and will (God willing) reach my highest peak yet in the realms of physical, emotional and spiritual well being by 50 - June 22, 2015.
March 16, 2014: down 11 pounds; next goal is to lose 10 more pounds by my 49th birthday on June 22nd.

2) Do a major physical event/activity, e.g. climbing trek, bike event, triathlon, 2 day hike

4) Achieve work/life balance
5) Be actively engaged in a hobby, e.g photography, scrapbooking, dogs, inspirational website)
6) Complete Happiness Project

"The Spark" is my main guide including the 28 day program. Slow and steady. Non-negotiable: 10 minutes of exercise a day.
Personal Information:
Married with 2 daughters, 12 and 15 (as of Jan 2014). I live in central Maryland and work almost full time as a physician and hospital leader.
