Introduction Text My husband and I live in metro Charleston, South Carolina, a beautiful area with lots of history and a warm, tropical climate most of the year. Downtown Charleston is just a short ride from our home. I have my own business: Teal Palmetto LLC (Google it!) Hubby and I moved here 5 years ago for my husband's job transfer. He is a U.S. Navy retiree who put in 24 years of service to his country. In 2015 he changed jobs, getting out of the shaky and uncertain defense contracting business. He now works as a Project Manager for an automobile parts manufacturer. In 2015, we celebrated our TENTH wedding anniversary!! My weight loss has been a constant struggle. I just keep on keeping on...

My goals are to - of course - lose the weight, but also to drink more water and do more physical activity. The latter is a huge challenge for me due to my back and knee problems.

To lose the weight, my strategy is to learn and follow the SP food tracking program. Also, I am finding ways to be more physically active. This includes using my resistance bands, my hand weights, various chair exercises, and exercise videos.

MY FAMILY: My husband and I have a Yorkshire Terrier named Ashton and a cat named Molly. MY OTHER INTERESTS: I have my own business, Teal Palmetto LLC. (Google it!) I'm VERY busy with that. Some other things I enjoy are gardening, traveling, reading , movies, crafts, writing (I am a published writer...), and doing volunteer work.
