Retired in 2016 and loving it. I live in Las Vegas. I love reading, my IPad and, when money permits, playing the penny slots.

October 2018

Welcome to the Holiday, or as I call it the eating, season. The season of candy and pot lucks and Thanksgiving and Christmas and all those dining opportunities that will test our resolve. I am gearing up with strategies for meeting that challenge head on.

I am giving myself permission to make mistakes and to be at least 80% on plan while enjoying the festivities. Perfect doesn’t exist but when we do our best we cannot do anything more. So for the next 3 months I will do my best. I will enjoy, a little, and work my plan, a lot. My goal not to gain anything. If I lose it will be great, but if I don’t gain, I will be a success.

Wishing all a positive, productive, and goal reaching new month.

My Goals:
LCHQ meal plan. Carb grams of no more than than 150 daily. Continue my exercise streak by getting at least 30 minutes of intentional exercise a day and my 12K Fitbit goal as well. Try to get 100K steps a week through the end of the year.


My Program:
Portion control, moderation, low carbs, sugar, and sodium and a minimum of 30 minutes of intentional exercise on a daily basis. Continue my goal streak of 100K steps a week on my Fitbit.



Personal Information:
Live in Las Vegas. Former Jersey girl. Retired and loving it.


Other Information:
I love to read, playing the penny slots, and hanging out with friends. I am seeking balance in my life. I want it to be on my terms. This journey has placed me on the road to good health and I want to keep working until I am as medication free as I can be in the future.
