February 2020

One month of the new year has come and gone.

January got me back on track and I posted a loss for the first month of the new year. Now to carry the momentum forward.

I turned 66, January 10, and I feel thankful, grateful, and blessed to have been granted another year to reach all my goals. I am not just talking about weight loss because a lot goes in to creating a new mindset for success. You need to remember what went before but you have to set your intentions to look towards the new.

My wish for you is that you continue to have a blessed, prosperous, happy and healthy 2020, Spark Friends.

Keep moving forward.

My Goals:
Continue eating lower carbs, with most of the carbs coming from whole or minimally processed foods.

Follow LCHQ meal plan.
Carb grams of no more than than 150 daily.
Do 30 minutes (minimum) of intentional exercise a day. Get 12K daily steps on my Fitbit.
Eat less processed and more Whole Foods in my diet.
Eat a minimum of 3 vegetables/fruits daily.


My Program:
Portion control, moderation, low carbs, sugar, and sodium while eating less processed foods and minimum sweets.

Plan: Reach my goal weight by 12/31/20.

Short Term Goal: Lose 1 pound a month from January through June.

Long Term Goal: Reach goal and maintenance by the end of 2020.

Live in Las Vegas. Former Jersey girl. Retired and loving it. Proud to be an active member of the Spark community for 5 years.


Other Information:
I love to read, play the penny slots, and hang out with friends. I have successfully created a healthier lifestyle that will not only get me to goal but will allow me to keep the weight off through maintenance and beyond.
