02/24/12 - Two months in and things are going quite well - I am not perfect - and have, for the most part stopped worrying about whether I am perfect or not - one day at a time, one choice at a time!

12/28/13- Last year was pretty good - I followed my fitness routine perfectly for 8 months - this year's goal - follow it for 1 full year! I am motivated to do this right.

01/01/17-Well, 2016 was disastrous in terms of my health and fitness goals...but I know that I can do this...and I know how great it feels to be on track and healthy...time to get that back...there are no excuses!

06/09/19- I’m back again...took off almost all the weight 2 years ago, had surgery and put it almost all back on. Have relost 30 pounds but am finding myself sliding again. Need a kick in the butt to keep going!

04/09/20 - Have reset my goals and am having a great summer in working towards them. My total focus is to get healthy and strong both physically and mentally before work starts again. Lots of little goals along the way. I can do this!

My Goals:
by March 15, 2021 I will weigh 140 pounds. To do this I will continue to walk no less than 10 000 steps/day (20000 steps/day in the summer), drink at least 8 cups of water and track all of my food. i will continue to eat every 2 to 3 hours with planned snacks.

My Program:
To meet my goals I am going to take baby steps. Small changes will lead to success!

Personal Information:
I am from Ontario (north of Toronto). I live in a beautiful, rural setting with my husband and am an empty-nester (which I hate!). I have two beautiful daughters ages 23 and 21, both away at school. I am a teacher and am currently released from my teaching duties to be the vice-president of our union local. It is rewarding work, but requires a lot of hours and can be very stressful.

Other Information:
Fitness goals: I really would like to be able to do a "real" push-up or ten! I am following the Gorilla app 100 push-ups program and seeing progress - when I started I could not even do a single modified push-up from my knees - yesterday I did 15!
