It's like herding cats...


After taking a hiatus from Sparkpeople to have my twins I am ready to get back into it. I gained about 20 lbs from the pregnancy but was about 20 lbs overweight to begin with.

I never understood it until now, but it is very difficult to find time to exercise. In the short term I am concentrating on eating well and being active (not a problem there).

My Goals:
Lose weight, of course!

Get in shape!



My Program:
 Consistent exercise and reduced calorie diet (high fiber, lots of veggies, low bad carbs).

I try to avoid sugars due to Insulin Resistance issues.




Personal Information:
Originally from northeastern SD; Went to school at SDSU in Brookings. Now living in Illinois, but SD is still my home!

Been married to my N.Dak man for over 14 years now! We were blessed with boy/girl twins born Oct 2011.

Other Information:
 Love to watch movies, read, go camping, arts & crafts, bake, travel, garden, and just chillin' in my hammock!

    Hi Saw your post about "Zach & Miri make a Porno." Saw it last night - but wanted to know if you stayed until the end of the credits? There was an extra scene that tied up everything and the outcome of the porno film they made..

    Just curious...would hate for you to have missed it!

    HI! I lived in Rapid City for 2 years with the Air Force. I had no idea what SD was like so my first question when I asked about it (I was coming from another post in FL) was, "Can I go hiking there?" and the person said "YES! In the Black Hills" I have to say that part of SD (I realize there are '2' SD) is so beautiful and the people are very nice.

    I experienced some bad blizzards, so much I had to stay home for 3-days because we werent allowed to drive anywhere. But then no one wanted to follow the Toyota with Arizona license plates anyway :)
