It's like herding cats...


After taking a hiatus from Sparkpeople to have my twins I am ready to get back into it. I gained about 20 lbs from the pregnancy but was about 20 lbs overweight to begin with.

I never understood it until now, but it is very difficult to find time to exercise. In the short term I am concentrating on eating well and being active (not a problem there).

My Goals:
Lose weight, of course!

Get in shape!



My Program:
 Consistent exercise and reduced calorie diet (high fiber, lots of veggies, low bad carbs).

I try to avoid sugars due to Insulin Resistance issues.




Personal Information:
Originally from northeastern SD; Went to school at SDSU in Brookings. Now living in Illinois, but SD is still my home!

Been married to my N.Dak man for over 14 years now! We were blessed with boy/girl twins born Oct 2011.

Other Information:
 Love to watch movies, read, go camping, arts & crafts, bake, travel, garden, and just chillin' in my hammock!
