Hi, just wanted to drop a line to you since you live in Columbus. I am new to the area. My fiance and I just moved to westerville. We are loving it here so far. I love your page...cute pics. I wanted to ask you a few things about your job because I just applied for a copywriting position here in columbus and I've never done that sort of thing before. My degree is in communication (previously done marketing work) and I love writing so I figured that would be a good position for me. 5336 days ago

Hey Katie! What's going on? Sorry I am just now responding to your comment on my page. I feel the same way about the group...I can't keep up with all of the new people and posts! I only usually get to check it once or twice a day and I just don't have time to read it all. I feel bad posting without commenting on other people's posts, so I end up not saying anything at all :(
Well, I hope you are doing well...we need to keep in touch! :-D 5369 days ago
That is interesting about your job...how did you get into that?
I am the Benefits Supervisor for a specialty insurance company. Basically, we have about 1,000 employees throughout the U.S. and I handle the employee benefits (health insurance, life insurance, 401(k), etc) for those employees and their dependents. I love my job, but it sure would be nice to work in my PJ's! I got my bachelors degree in Accounting but found my way into Human Resouces in college and knew I never wanted to leave that field. I am studying right now to get my CEBS certification, which requires me to pass 9 major tests on different aspects of Employee Benefits. My first test is June 17th, and I am WAY behind in my studying! I have been out of college so long, I think I forgot how to study!
Any news in your husband's job hunt? it seems like schools are making PE less and less of a priority these days. It's sad! 5376 days ago
