I'm gonna make it after all!
Joined SparkPeople in January of 2008 and have come back twice after getting a little lazy. I am now leading the ShapeUP group with MeganPacely and want to join my fellow UPCenter folks in creating a more healthy me! What are your goals?

My Goals:
I don't need to have a 29 waist (though wouldn't that be fabulous?), but I'd like to look good in my body. I want to get rid of my love handles, my gut, my man-boobs, my other chin, and maybe get a narrower, rounder butt. Its flat and wide right now.
My Program:
I'm walking every day, I FINALLY started using my gym membership! Less calories, less fat, less carbs, more protein, more fiber. No more terrible meals! I also went totally vegetarian, and almost totally vegan!
UPDATE: Tom's meal plan seems to be going well--thanks buddy!
UPDATE: I've broken EVERY running record I've ever had, and loving it. Nothing but fruits and veggies until 12pm--I generally get 5-7 servings in! 200 crunches every morning, gym 4-5 days a week! Cut out thousands of calories a week and its SHOWING!
I've made some modifications. I'm now doing--as Joann suggested--only fruit until noon. It saves me like 30 minutes in the morning, which is extra work-out time!
Personal Information:
I'm ORIGINALLY from Detroit, one of the fattest cities in America. My mom was always pretty fit, as was my dad, but I've been overweight my entire life. I've got a great partner who deserves someone who takes care of himself, and I deserve to take care of myself better.
