thankfully I changed my goal into three segments. The first goal I reached and thought how easy it is to lose so I might as well aim for a lower weight. Today I am 1.5 lbs away from that goal and feeling so good I am aiming for another 10 lbs loss, which will be my weight I had before I had children and in my 20's. I also want to fit into size 4/6, not 6/8 like now, and I am flirting with the idea of wearing the same size of my girls (size 2 - 4). But that is because of a selfish reason, I would like to wear their throw away jeans. No matter what, I am now slim enough to really like the way I look.

My Goals:
First I want to have a healthy BMI around 20. To feel good in my old jeans and to live a long healthy life. To feel slim and trim and to get that strut walk back. According to Seaglassqueen, I should start the strut first and that supports the mind. Ok, ok now I am strutting and loving my body. It deserves it!

My Program:
I enjoy Dr. Fuhrman, Tana Amen's recipes (the brain doctor's wife), and Jon Gabriel's visualizations. I feel better without gluten and low carb meals. I love the no diet mentality, and I am watching youtubes from Jenna la Flamme, who is also very cute and motivational. Her plan is pleasurable weight loss, and listening to the body what it wants, not ego. You know who, the one voice that says you are full, but your ego says, no way I want more.

Personal Information:
Nicki, from Phoenix, Arizona. I lived 36 years in Switzerland.
Upon returning to my hometown, Phoenix, I finally got to finish my B.S. in Psychology at ASU. I am now retired and enjoying being a woman of pleasure!

Other Information:
I believe in the good in the world. I refuse to listen to negative information and I believe in myself. I love living in Phoenix again, and hope to never leave Arizona again. My husband is Swiss and he feels the same...for
Switzerland. We live together 3 months, then are separated 3 months, then it starts all over again. it works for us.

Unfortunately, have some bad news to report. My husband suffered a stroke on June 15th, but good recovering very nicely. Seems that a stroke that would have killed the rest of us (clot completely stopped flow of blood through basilar artery)...wasn't as bad for Charlie as he had a birth defect, where that artery was ALWAYS very narrow, and the brain sent out other blood vessels (collateral circulation) to take care of getting the blood to this very important part of the brain. Thank you, God!

We both missed, of course, the trip to Germany, Italy, and Switzerland last week with my 82 students, but was able to replace us with wonderful colleagues/friends and the trip went on without a hitch.

I am now hoping that our lives will return to normal, and we are both eating healthy and when he is permitted to, Charlie will continue with exercise.

Keep him in your prayers please.

Have a great summer...wonderful 4th of July! emoticon emoticon emoticon

How are you doing? I'm trying to get myself back on track. Lots of stress, as I mentioned earlier, with the death of my father-in-law. Haven't made myself a priority in a while, now, but am starting to make good decisions again...walk today, made healthy fiber muffins for breakfast, and doing a lot of yard work on the weekend. About five more weeks of school...and then a really is great for me and has often been some of the best times of my lfie.

Hope your health is good and that you are having a great spring!
