Introduction Text I'm a happily married father of three girls. That didn't keep me from being fat and lazy for years. This time I had reached 485 lbs. 485!!!! I decided to do SOMETHING and make small easy changes, a little at a time. It started snowballing and it's working. I have already become a whole new me living a positive, active, full life rather than dying on the couch from beer, TV, and Hot Pockets. Every day is a fresh new blessing and I'm not going to waste another one.

Get past 435 (My previous brick wall) | DONE Get out of the 400's | DONE 385 (100lb lost) | DONE! 375 | DONE! 367 (Halfway) DONE!! 350 (100lb to go) DONE!!! 335 (150lb lost) DONE!!! 325 (Weight on my Wedding Day 2003) DONE!!! 310 (175 lost - 3/4 of the way there) DONE!!!! 299 (Out of 300's) DONE!!!! 285 (200lb lost) 250 and we can re-evaluate at that point. Finish a 5k run - Training for this now Finish a sprint triathlon - Training for this now Finish a 10k run Finish a century ride (100 miles)

Small changes, a little tweak at a time. Not being afraid of failing. Eating whatever I want as long as I can calculate it. Ignoring the stress of food trends that pull us in every direction. Myfitnesspal food tracker EVERY DAY (Way better than SP tracker) CYCLING!!! I found the one exercise that I not only don't hate but that I'm addicted to. Bicycling and bikes are actually an equal rival to my passion for guitars. I can't wait to go riding every chance I get (Mississippi heat pending) and this is a huge exclamation point on the progress I've made. I track almost all of my exercise on Strava. Married to the most amazing woman for 13 years. At 105lb, she never once showed me any less love or affection despite my weight problems. We have 3 smart home schooled daughters. I'm a small business owner and full-time church employee. I ride my motorcycle every chance I get. I play guitar, bass, and drums and build electric guitars very slowly.

I'm the first to laugh at fat jokes.
