    I like what you are doing as I try to do the same, I am a comfort eater so if I don't buy I cannot eat, my one downfall is bread so I mostly buy rolls or cobs and freeze them.

My "we-can-eat anything-&-everything-&-nvr-gain-an-oz" husband and teenage son make it more challenging for me to make good choices at home...but having the more countable and therefore ACCOUNTable single-servings makes it easier.
