After having success with SP back in 2008!!! I have gained back all of the weight I previously lost plus more. Ugh. I started a new job that turned out to be super stressful but have since worked it out so that it is now awesome! I also improved my chloresterol over the past year, bringing it down from an unhealthy number to a good, healthy number. Now I need to get back to improving the rest of myself.

I need to make this weight loss journey my #1 priority to be successful. It is the only way to make it work, otherwise, I'm doing this for naught. I've tried half-assing it and well, you see how well that went.

Love these quotes for motivation:
* Believe that you can run farther or faster. Believe that you're young enough, old enough, strong enough, and so on to accomplish everything you want to do. Don't let worn out beliefs stop you from moving beyond yourself. - John Bingham
* If I could have bought being thin, don’t you think I would have done it a long time ago? – Oprah
* The only secret is that it is consistent, often monotonous, boring, hard work. And it's tiring. - Robert de Castella, World champion marathon runner
* All I can do is continue feeding it well and exercising regularly. Eventually, it'll catch up with my efforts. – Sparkpeople.com
* Consistency eventually leads to breakthroughs! – Sparkpeople.com

Fitness Minutes: 46,441

My Goals:
1. To get back to a weight of 140 or 150. I had no idea how good that weight was at the time and now, what would I do (or not do) to get there. Well, I am still not eating Kale or doing Paleo/Keto

GOALS ACHIEVED
1. To run a 5k race this fall - ACHIEVED 11/26/09 in 32 minutes
2. Swim 1 mile in 30-minutes (1,650 meters) - ACHIEVED 10/9/09 in 29 minutes
3. Get to 153 by Halloween - ACHIEVED 10/29/09
4. Not identified beforehand, but now that I can do it, super-happy: Getting out of the pool without stairs by hoisting myself up by my [now strong] arms to the elevated pool deck - Achieved 12/14/09

My Program:
1. Body weight exercises for now. 4x per week.
2. Focus on more protein and veggies since I find it easy to pass those up for carbs.

Personal Information:
I've been married for 18-years to a wonderful guy and have two fantastic kiddos!

Other Information:
I work from home and find it hard to put the work down and do things like taking a walk or exercise for myself. Just one more email, just one more task to do. Need to be better about that.
