I'm a 60 year old wife/Mom/homemaker/friend who used to be thin and in great shape half a lifetime ago...I know what it feels like and I want to get back there! Things happen, lifestyles change, and in what seems like nano seconds you look in the mirror and don't recognize the person looking back.....

I love to read. I appreciate nature. I have a massive collection of mid - 20th century dinnerware and kitchen glassware. My 2 dogs, a Schipperke and a Chocolate Lab, are my constant companions. UPDATE: Rascal my dear Schipperke passed away on January 19, 2010. We all miss him, especially me and my Chocolate Lab Lottie. Rascal was the boss of our family! My page will be dark for a time while I adjust to the loss of a true friend in this life. UPDATE. Dear sweet Lottie left my world in December of 2015. It's been very difficult without her and in looking back over the last year and a few months her death sent me spinning out of control....
