Great pictures and nice comments on my page. I don't want to accept that I MUST be a matronly 50 year old either. Keep up the good work. I'm here for you emoticon

"Being over weight is BAD. It's harmful and the worse part is you are depriving that child in your picture the opportunity to have a healthy fit person in their life. I'm sure you are saying I am healthy- maybe but not for long if you continue and don't get that weight off.
    Was happy hour worth that.
Please stop attempting to fool yourself by trying to get support for unhealthy behavior.
You asked - YES!! you should not only feel guilty but you do something about it deduct the calorie overage for yesterday from today's allotment total ( eat that much less today) and add 60 minutes to your workout to work off the excess. Please stop the excuses. If not for you for that child in the picture. No more excuses."

-First of all, because you are older than my mother, I'm going to attempt to respect you, although you did not offer me the same. MY BLOG, which is my own thoughts, opinions, rants, and raves, was not intended to make excuses...it was simply a thought I had on a situation in my life. To answer your question, happy hour is worth the 200-300 calories I went over in my allowance, because it's ME time. Secondly, if I didn't think being overweight was BAD, as you put it, I wouldn't be on this site, making an attempt at changing my life. But you ignore that fact and come to my page on some self righteous B.S., for what? Was your post supposed to make me feel better? I don't sweat the small stuff, like happy hour drinking, because as I said, today is a brand new beautiful day, and the fact that I can see it is ok with me.

I love how you're giving me orders like I asked for your advice. I thought this site was created for people to build each other up, not tear them down. I found your comment on my blog not only offensive, but EXTREMELY rude. In life, and you should know this at 50, that it's not so much what you say, but how you say it.

Oh and by the way, that was a rhetorical question.

    emoticon You can do it!

And when you realize that the upcoming changes to the 'mature' woman is adding to the challenge it can seem overwhelming.

(menopause creeps up on ya sometimes)

But, I believe you have it in you to rise to the challenge.

You WILL be in those size 8's.

Keep up the good work. emoticon
