This time is for good... For good health. Good healthy weight. Good healthy cooking. And good healthy workouts. For Life!

I originally got to my goal weight in November of 2015, with the help of this site, and held in maintenance for over a year. Then I got tendinitis in my right foot, which caused strained muscles in my left foot from limping. I was frustrated and it was too painful to exercise much, it was a struggle to walk without limping. Without the extra calorie burn from exercise, I put weight back on, as its really difficult to eat under 1250 calories a day (my BMR at goal).

Now we're rapidly approaching the end of 2018... I had gotten used to feeling fit, and I really don't care for how the extra 20ish pounds I'm carrying weighs on me physically or emotionally. I'm going to do something about it. I still have bad days when the tendinitis flares up, but I know I can get through it.

My Goals:
To be healthy and never go more than 2 days without exercise. To get my flexibility and splits back.

My Program:
Staying within my calorie range with real food. No high calorie drinks, except for the occasional glass of wine. Elliptical for cardio, modified barre for strength and yoga for flexibility.

Personal Information:
Time is my greatest enemy... I work full time and like to spend my evenings with my daughter and husband. I am dealing with the "mommy guilt" of working full-time (yes, it's important to me!). I'm looking for new people to connect with and share what works for their healthy lifestyle tips. So drop me a comment, and add me as your friend!

Other Information:
I like to cook. Real food. You won't see a whole bunch of substituting low fat sour cream and cheeses or yogurt in my recipes. I would rather just eat less of the stuff that actually tastes good. I have learned that if it doesn't taste good, it's not worth the calories.
