So... many moons ago, ok in 2011, I lost about 50 pounds. I started at about 180, and I ended at about 125-130 (depends on the day, as this fluctuates a bit). I've been as thin as 120 (which I'll admit is a little too thin for my body, and my body FIGHTS to get back up to 125-130), and I'm working on being OK with that. I'd LOVE to be that thin. I really would love if my body type were that type. But it isn't. I'm not built as a beanstalk. And this is OK. What I am is STRONG. I'm a triathlete. I'm a runner. I've got great biceps. I have big muscular thighs. And this is OK. I have jiggly belly skin. And this is OK too. I'm not ever going to have a flat belly. When your skin is stretched out for years and years, it's not going to go back to what it once was. And guess what - it is OK!!! So... this is me. Strong, but not perfect. Healthy, but not super skinny. Happy on this journey of health and wellness.

I may be Jillian Michaels' biggest fan.

I highly recommend her workouts, and they were my main exercises for the bulk of my weight-loss endeavors.

I am a RUNNER.

I am also a TRIATHLETE!!

I am learning to love new fruits and veggies!

    Welcome to Dog Lovers team, RAINBOWCHARMER. And I see you are also new to Sparkpeople! I used to be a terrible snacker at work, but I'm much better. I'm not sure what kind of job you have, but I am able to bring my own snacks and choose things like fresh fruit, the 100-calorie snacks, pretzels, nature valley fruit and nut bars, cereal, fresh veggies or other things like that. I definitely bring my own though to stay away from the vending machines.
