    So sorry u lost ur Mom 'recently. I lost my Dad a yr ago. We were very tight from the moment I was born. I agree th hurts,!

    At work no, most likely u can't leave ur desk as one may wish. I was tied to mine to get the overwhelming work done in the 8 hrs I had. I'm not sure how many breaks u get. I got 2, 15 minutes and an hrs for lunch,,,sometimes a 1/2 hrs.

    I'd throw on my coat if it was freezing cold, I live in. Maine, so lol that's most of the time, and walk!! Amazing how a 10 minute walk would refresh me!! At times some of my co workers would join me. Our place of work paid for a gym membership. We'd often go right after work. Including those with young children. We knew where we worked was very stressful. We needed to take care of our bodies And minds.

    I'm not sure of it situation. At late night 20 minutes b4 bed, instead of reading, watching the idiot box, I find a "yoga for bed" video on YouTube. This helps me immensely!!! I'm sleeping much better, deeper. I wake up feeling refreshed.

    Just a few ideas. One really does feel much better even right off. I've since have stopped working. I have more time. Still if I don't push myself,,, I'd just end up sitting here. I'm at the moment in a cast. Have been for 6 weeks,,, and 30 treatments in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, it has been much worse zapping my energy. By doing exercises, I gain back some of this poo precious energy.

    Mom used to tell me "where there's a will, there's a way." I fight daily to move. It's worth it. Hopefully you can find the 10 minutes here or there, especially when you feel u just can't put one foot in front of the other.

    As for feeling like screaming,,,, walk a little faster and pump those arms wildly, getting out the anger. It's a great time if u believe in pray, to use ur OWN words, getting the anger out.

    I just read your post about fiber, I am doing the fiber challenge. My Aunt who I take care of ,has kidney failure, I have had to re-think the brown rice / white rice way of eating and for me it has been difficult. I would never serve white rice and now I must..... It is weird for me. I down loaded recipes from the kidney foundation which helps.

    I just read your comment on exercising and working out when it gets to easy for you. My husband has a bad back, what he will do is walk, or jog in the pool. We have an above ground and he will go round and round for about 30 min. It is very good for his back and he will swim a little. You could try this. I hate to hear you have a bad back, but don't give up or get discouraged cause it is worse the more weight you gain. So hang in there. Don't give up. I don't loose fast either but I have lost 10 pounds now and Have been trying since February. I am trying to keep encouraged and keep moving forward. I figure if I am 20 pounds down by Christmas than so be it. Atleast that is a loss. Maybe by the end of next year I will have lost 40. Just try and keep a good attitude. :) emoticon

    Just read your comment on the strength training article. I think 5 pounds is a great place to start. I'm currently doing only body weight exercises with no added weight. I plan to and hope to add weight in the future. Best wishes to you! :)
