BOOM!! DONE!!! D-U-triple N!!
I am tired of using the excuse that I am in pain and thinking there is no way I can do that. I have overcome alot when I was it was not possible, so I know that I can do this. I am tired of being the fat cousin, sister, aunt ... I hate feeling that I am not good enough for my family ...well anyone in general. Well I am not going to feel that way any longer. This is my life and I am going to take it back one stink'n pound at a time!! I am so done. Done of living this way and done of ...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord my shape to keep.
Please no wrinkles, Please no bags
And please lift my butt before it sags.
Please no age spots, Please no gray
And as for my belly, Please take it away.
Please keep me healthy, Please keep me young,
And thank you Dear Lord, For all that you've done.
My Goals:
My goal of course is to lose weight. I have been overweight for most of my life. I want to be healthy so I can see my nephew grow up.
****************
Short term goals:
273 lbs: New mp3 player Goal met!
248 lbs: New Dooney & Bourke Purse
223 lbs: Day at the spa
198 lbs: Nintendo Wii
173 lbs: New camera
148 lbs: Belly piercing (YIKES)
135 lbs: Goal weight!!
My Program:
Before I signed up for this site, I tried to watch what I eat. For lunch I would eat a Lean Cousine dinner, but when I get home from work it is a different story. So I am anxious to see what happens with the information on here.
It has been a few weeks since I've joined. My program has changed somewhat. I still have my Lean Cuisine for lunch. I work out just about every day for an hour, if it is in the pool or in the weight room.
****************
I am trying to walk more each day, after buying a perdometer I didn't relize how little I was walking! So each day I am trying to walk one more step than the previous day.
I am also going back to something I did a few months ago. As silly as it sounds, I am doing squats as I am washing my hands in the restroom. It gets my blood flowing and makes me feel a little better.
Personal Information:
I changed my name from shychickie317 to Renee_317 cuz I am trying not to be shy any longer. If I keep saying that I am shy I will remain shy.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
I live in Illinois, in a small town on the Mississippi River. Grew up mostly in Missouri. I am single, with no kids. I have younger siblings who inspire me each day. A beautiful nephew who I love so much and miss dearly. Losing weight has been difficult for me the past 11 years or so. In 1999 I had to have emergency spinal cord surgery and my doctors told me that I would never walk again, not without the use of a walker and braces. But I decided I was too young for that outcome, and I forced myself to learn how to walk with out that assistance. But prior to my surgery I gained lots of weight due to my inability to move without being in pain. So if I can overcome being told that I would never walk again, to being able to walk (all be it, it is difficult at times) I can lose the weight.
Other Information:
I love sports! Before my problems with my back, I ran track in high school, and played softball. I love football and being from Kansas City, of course I love the Chiefs and Royals. I like to read, watch movies, listen to music, dance, and I like politics.
