Greetings! My name is Michelle and I live in Orange County, California (within minutes of Disneyland). I have been Sparking off and on for many years. What seems like a lifetime ago, I was the type of person many people envied because I was able to eat anything and everything yet remain skinny. That all changed when I entered my 30s and got a desk job. With the helpful tools on SparkPeople and the support of my fellow Sparkers, I was able to lose 38 pounds in 2014, finally getting my weight down to the upper 190s, but then let my guard down by cheating too many times. Once I stopped using SparkPeople regularly, I lost my focus and began gaining all my weight back again plus more.

So now I have 100 pounds I need to lose. I have restarted on this healthy path a few times, but after seeing my weight hit 260 (I averaged 149 lbs in my 20s), I decided I've had enough. I can't sleep well because of the fat in my neck and I'm always out of breath and tired. So, here I go again. Right before the coronvirus pandemic, I purchased a membership to Planet Fitness and only managed half an hour on the treadmill once. When the gym opens back up and it is safe to go there, I will push myself to go.

I remember how wonderful I felt when I lost the 38 pounds and I am anxious to feel good again. So, let’s do this!
