Greetings! My name is Michelle and I live in Orange County, California (within minutes of Disneyland). I have been Sparking off and on for many years. What seems like a lifetime ago, I was the type of person many people envied because I was able to eat anything and everything yet remain skinny. That all changed when I entered my 30s and got a desk job. With the helpful tools on SparkPeople and the support of my fellow Sparkers, I was able to lose 38 pounds in 2014. Once I stopped using SparkPeople regularly, I lost my focus and began gaining all my weight back again. To be honest, I do not know how much I weigh right now. I am almost scared to check. All I know is that I feel sluggish, my clothes are too tight, and I have more pain in my lower back and knees. My neck also feels tight and I cannot breathe well whilst laying down. All telltale signs of too much fat.
I am now fed up with the discomfort and my laziness, so I am ready to regain my focus. I remember how wonderful I felt when I lost the 38 pounds and I am anxious to feel good again. I have reset my SparkPeople account and already started adjusting my lifestyle. I have started back with my Pilates standing and mat exercises every day since 7/28 and tracking my food and drinks. Although I have not been weighing myself, I already feel my core muscles strengthening and can see my stomach fat decreasing! It has been only 1 week!

I really hope I can stay focused and stick with it this time. I know what needs to be done and how to do it. I also know that I can do it! So, let’s do this!

    Thank you for stopping by my blog. I am getting up at 5 am to run cause if I don't then I either won't do it cause it's too hot or I will have to run on the treadmill. I don't mind running on the treadmill but I've been running on it all winter so it's time for a change and a new challenge. You will get there... It's not that bad at all and there is something nice about knowing you got your workout in before your day has even started.
