Hello there, my name is Carrie, and I live in the western part of Massachusetts.

I'm trying to get back into some health (I don't like saying shape). Currently I am coming from a completely sedentary background. I used to be slim, but not in shape or healthy. In the past 1.5 years I've gained 25 pounds due to illness and being sedentary. I recently lost about 10 pounds and am now stuck at my current weight. None of my old clothes fit me, and it feels weird to have this extra weight on me. I'm very short, about 5' 3.5" and the weight isn't good for my joint problems.

On the flip side, I finally have boobs! I used to be an A cup, but now I'm a full B. I've never been a B in my life! I sure do hope they'll stay if I get below 130 (my current goal)!

I was walking a ton, and loving it. I even tried a couple times to run/walk at 30 seconds per run, but my knees didn't like the running, and the walking exacerbated my lifelong clicking hips, and caused some achiness. I'm not one to push through pain, as my joints are a mess right now. My chiropractor told me to stop the running, and is working on getting my hip better. I miss it, though!

My Goals:
(My old goals from 9/2006: Become physically active--even just walking. weight loss would be a natural bonus.)

Become active daily. Increase muscle strength.
Do my PT exercises everyday.

Be vertical for half the day, not at the computer all day.

Increase my heart rate, I get stuck at 136 bpm.


My Program:
Gym 1-3x week.

Elliptical 20-30 minutes: incline 1.

Situps and leg lifts.
