Introduction Text Well, here I am again....I'm up 10 pounds from last year this time and I mean to be back down to 195 or less by the end of this year. I'm so thankful I have this wonderful resource to help me!

Is to slowly and safely reduce my weight level from obese to just overweight and then to healthy. In 2011 I lost and was able to maintain a 25 pound weight loss -- WOO HOO! Now in 2012 I have another 20 pounds to lose so that I will no longer be considered obese.

I am trying everything! I have a weight loss meditation CD that I listen to several nights a week; I attended Overeaters Anonymous meetings; I am trying very hard to drink eight or MORE glasses of water each day; AND I am active on Sparkpeople and am just now getting really into all the community aspects and participating in a couple of official challenges. I have also learned that I MUST read some sort of health/weight loss book EVERY DAY. I have three on my bedside table: The Spark, Fit from Within, and Body Clutter. Those books help to keep my focused.

I live in Cary, NC and am the proud mother of a little boy and girl.

"The days are long but the years are short." This is why I want to be healthy...so that I can more fully enjoy the days and years with my wonderful children and husband.
