Weight to lose.


I have started the process of going through a gastric bypass surgery. It will be a six month ordeal and during that time I have to show I can lose some weight myself and change some habits,

My Goals:
My goals this year are to continue not smoking and losing weight!

My Program:
 I have switched my eating over to a serving of meat and two vegetables. I have cut out breads, rice, pasta, sugar, potatoes, pancakes, chips all the empty white carbs pretty much. If I'm hungry I eat a pickle and apple an orange a piece of gum.


Personal Information:
I'm from Phoenix divorced. I have a daughter I don't get to see often, she lives with her mother in Indiana. Working on making the best me possible a day at a time!

Other Information:
 I read a lot. Love to talk. Miss hiking a lot. I used to spend so much time outdoors.........now not so much. This weight has gotten to me! But that is changing

    emoticon Glad you are having the surgery as I watch the BBC program "Fat Doctor" and I can understand why it is necessary for so many people who have stretched out their stomachs to such a large size that they just can't feel "full" without the surgery. But, having to show that you can lose weight on your own makes sense because half of the people who have the surgery regain all the weight again after two years. Sparks has lots of blogs by those people, all saying the same thing "Well, I went back to eating junk food and stopped doing any exercise."

    Hey! I see that your surgery is a 6 month process through insurance. Mine was too. Actually it took the better part of a year but it was ALL TOTALLY worth it! Hang in there and just keep doing what they require and you WILL be approved! Best Wishes!
