Rowena, you sound like me too. I gained back most of the weight I lost the last two year... 35 pounds, I had lost 50 lbs. I started a week ago and getting into the rhythm of logging and blogging again. Its nice to find people in the same boat, hopefully losing this time it will be for keeps. I'm coming back from foot and knee injury.

Hey Rowena, I'm Sarah. Your story sounds like mine, as far as losing, gaining, losing and gaining again! I was on here looking for friends in hopes that if I had them, I might never want to leave. Anyway, I added you as a friend. emoticon

hey there! thanks so much for the compliment :) means a lot :) :) my arms?? well i lift weights weekly (well been slacking recently but working on refocusing ;) but i will do something like:

    back & biceps
    triceps & abs
    legs
    shoulders & chest
    then cardio 3 X 4 a week

really didn't start focusing on strength training til this year but I have seen great results so I say do it! first year i just focused on losing the weight then I wanted to focus on weight training and leaning up. now let me tell you if you are going to weight train you have to ignore the scale and not let it discourage you. let your clothes be the judge.

hope this helps a bit....im kind of looking for motivation right now as the season changes so i'm glad i can offer some motivation to you :) it is a lifestyle and you go through ups and downs. the thing is you keep trying....always. :)

if you like i have a facebook athlete page called bekahsays. im a little more active on there although i track my food daily on here. i would love to see all your progress and i wish you the best. the best advice i can give is to be kind to yourself, we gained all the weight in the first place but not being kind to yourself so when you mess up and you will just acknowledge it and move forward and never beat yourself up for it. :)

Just stumbled upon your page and I can definitely relate to the all-or-nothing mindset. It can be hard to stay motivated, but you just have to remember that every little bit counts. Keep up the great work!

LOL! Yes, a LOT of sweaty minutes. It works out to 6hrs a week since I started in June! It really does pay off!

I see that you are doing good also! Awesome!!! emoticon
