    Yes the 5K was definitely a lot of work, but definitely something I've been working towards for a while. After a 25 lbs loss, I started training with the C25K program last fall, that actually got me to the point where I was able to run in up to 10 minute intervals with rest in between and then another long run. I had to stop in winter because of snow and cold, but I just started up again yesterday. It felt so incredible to actually be able to say that for the first time in my life I have finished 5Ks! Like I said the time is horrible, my co-workers just finished a 5K this weekend and they ran it in 25 mins, however they have been running for years. The way I look at it, even if it took me 2 hrs, it's something I set out to do and I accomplished! Best of luck to you in your journey and I would highly recommend the C25K if you ever start running. http://www.c25k.com/
